Anchorage Bed and Breakfast Guide

An Anchorage bed and breakfast can be a great place to stay when visiting the city, or when in town before or after an Alaska cruise.

There are over fifty B&Bs in the greater Anchorage area, so there is literally something to fit everyone’s budget, from inexpensive to luxury.

Rates can start as low as $80 dollars a night (some even lower) and range on up to $400 a night and even more during the high (summer) season.

Many of the lower end B&Bs are located in suburban households, but even many of these offer excellent breakfasts and even high speed internet in the price, making them a great deal.

They are also a fun way to meet native Alaskans and find out more about the local culture, customs, and attractions.

I find that B&Bs can be far less impersonal than large hotels, and many are in locations that rival or even surpass those of many luxury hotels, yet for a fraction of the price.

There is much to see and do in the Anchorage area, from urban attractions such as museums and parks to an incredible array of natural attractions within a few hours drive.

You can learn more about Anchorage attractions on our Anchorage City Guide page. And a listing of local B&Bs can be found here.

Overall, an Anchorage bed and breakfast is a great place to stay before or after your Alaska cruise.
