WHAT TO PACK
When you are packing for an Alaska fishing trip in the summer months, what clothes you should pack depends on which region you will be fishing in.
If you're heading to the interior for some river or lake fishing, it can get quite warm during the long summer days up as high as Fairbanks.
I'm talking averages in the 80's topping out at 90. So don't assume it's going to be frigid and pack only ski parkas. Pack a light, waterproof jacket and prepare to dress in layers.
